The imagine.nation team has partnered with Education is Our Future NPO to focus on implementing a curriculum for the creche, supporting the teachers with educational support and training as well as monitoring the progress of the children. We believe that formative education is the cornerstone to the future of these young children's lives and have been overwhelmed by the progress that we have already seen with this partnership.

Education is Our Future NPO utilises a highly rated Systematic Language Learning Programme designed specifically for Foundation phase.

This programme concentrates on:

Alphabet
Reading
Writing

WINTER WARMER

What started out as a small initiative with family and friends in 2010 has truly grown into a beautiful journey – helping over 23 000 people across South Africa keep warm.

The 2020 imagine.nation Winter Warmer officially wrapped up with 6250 Polar Fleece blankets and 1020 re-usable fabric masks being distributed to our beneficiaries. We were further able to provide a R250 food voucher to the 30 workers who sewed and packed our blankets during the epicentre of the pandemic.

VEGETABLE GARDEN

Over months of hard work, partners Khuthaza Foundation and PlantNation Africa have revolutionised the garden area at Boitshepo crèche, building Eco beds and planting vegetables that will provide food security and nourishment to the 66 children currently enrolled.

PARTY 4 PURPOSE

Lacking inspiration for an upcoming birthday? We have you covered. Come celebrate with us. All you have to do is:

1. Contact our P4P co-ordinator (tayahowell.imagine.nation@gmail.com).

2. Invite your friends.

3. Prepare an educational morning for the children

4. Pack snack packs for each child

5. Optional: instead of birthday gifts as your friends to bring something for the children to take home.

PARTNERSHIP WITH RADA

Our partnership with RADA has ensured food security for the 66 children plus and 4 teachers at Boitshepo.

Healthy bodies = healthy minds!

We are excited about the further work that PlantNation and Khuthaza are doing to supplement the daily diet with fresh vegetables grown and managed on site.
