Who we are
Imagine.nation is a non-profit founded by young South Africans with a firm belief that every person has the ability to change the world in a positive way. We aim to enhance opportunities for South African children living in rural areas by investing in education initiatives. Our key focus is on formative year education and social entrepreneurship.

Why
​
The future of our country rests on the pillars of education. Formative year education in rural South Africa is in a dire state and receives little to no government support.
Typical classrooms have a teacher to child ratio of 1:40. For every 100
students in grade 1, 48 will make it to high school and only 4 will pass
maths with a grade in excess of 50%.

Empower teachers to own schools, get the requisite training and run their schools as sustainable social businesses.

Imagine.nation build pre-primary schools and provides curriculum support in order to ensure safe and clean learning environments that inspire learners and teachers for a brighter tomorrow.

The future
We are currently:
• Expanding our site at Boitshepo to cater for the influx of children who
have enrolled; and
• Equiping sites with solar energy and education technology that
lower the barriers to access of world-class education.
